It was founded in 2008 by KIM Mi-hee, who is widely recognized for her contribution to the revitalization of Korean cinema, having notably executive produced <Attack The Gas Station!> (1999) as the CEO of Fun & Happiness Film, and <Arahan> (2004), <A Dirty Carnival> (2006) and <Tazza: The High Rollers> (2006) as the co-CEO of Sidus Corporation. Dream Capture debuted with a stage musical adaptation of <Attack The Gas Station!> in 2009 before co-producing its first film, the drama <PaceMaker> (2011). In 2013, the studio defied the odds with the sleeper hit thriller <Hide and Seek> (2013), scoring a remarkable 5.6 million admissions.
