Min-hi's marriage comes to an end due to her husband Young-Jun's affair with his colleague Choi. After divorce, she meets a Korean-American In-Su on Cheju Island but refuses his proposal. She meets Jae-ho at a bar who lives with his son. She marries him out of sympathy but he runs away with all the money. She seeks comfort in her son Uk-ie and while she holds him in her arms, she senses her husband's affectionate presence behind her.
