But then, he has a miraculous experience of hearing God's voice amidst brilliant light. Yo-han receives an awakening and newfound courage. He becomes friends with the shoe-shining kid, Jin-yong, in the Seoul Railway Station. Finally, Yo-han realizes his calling. He returns to his theology studies. In New York, with the help of the Helen Keller Foundation, Yo-han runs a church for the blind.
