When Prince Daewon rules as regent for King Gojong, he tries to install Wanhwagung the son of a court lady Lee as the Crown Prince, Queen Min, in protest to this attempt, makes Prince Daewon withdraw from ruling as regent with the help of the Min Seung-ho Party.
