Korean All-rounder Goes to Brussels

THE PEACH TREE, Invited to the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival

Actress and director KU Hye-Sun's film The Peach Tree was invited to the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) 2013 edition according to her management agency. BIFFF, marking its 31th edition next year, is one of world’s top 3 fantastic film festivals along with the Sitges Film Festival of Spain and Fantasporto of Portugal. The festival will be held at the ‘Palais des Beaux Arts’ in Brussels from April 2nd to 13th.
 
The Peach Tree is the second feature film directed by KU, who directed Magic. CHO Seung-woo, RYU Deok-hwan and NAM Sang-mi appear in the film. It’s a story about Siamese twin brothers with opposite personalities who have lived indoors for 30 years without being aware of the world beyond their walls. KU not only directedb the film but also composed and wrote its main theme. She also published a book of the same name fto approach the story from another point of view.
 
Earlier when KU directed the short film The Madonna, she received the Audience award at the Busan Asian Short Film Festival and the Spotlight award at the Shorts Shorts Film Festival.
