He began his career at KOFIC Namyangju Studios, where he served as Head of the Sound Recording Team and later as Director of the Studios, contributing to the development of Korea's film production infrastructure. He subsequently served as Head of the Creative Support Team and Director of the Support Projects Division, leading a range of initiatives to support filmmakers, revitalize the independent and art-house film ecosystem, and expand film culture at the grassroots level.
