Explore More Diverse Film Festivals through KoBiz Online Screening!

Now Servicing International Women’s Film Festival in Seoul

Until now, KoBiz Online Screening has provided streaming through a special section for film festival selections, having serviced three festivals to date: the Jeonju, Puchon and Busan International Film Festival. However, KoBiz has decided to extend the service to more festivals, knowing that industry delegates are having a hard time attending other film festivals in Korea due to travel constraints or schedule conflicts.

The International Women’s Film Festival in Seoul (IWFFS) is one of the new additions and the festival’s Korean features and short films will be made available on the Online Screening website (http://screening.koreanfilm.or.kr). For its 16th edition this year, IWFFIS aims to explore the most contemporary trends in women’s film and also provides Asia with its biggest women’ film network.

The films can be accessed through the Online Screening website’s ‘Festival Screening’ tab. Featured works include LEE Kil-bora’s Glittering Hands, based on a real story about deaf parents, JO Se-young’s doc Let’s Dance about a hospital that was found to be performing illegal abortions in 2009, and also the Asian Short Film & Video Competition section’s 22 mid-length Korean films.

‘Festival Screening’ will start to provide IWFFIS’ programming online from June 5th,, as this year’s edition comes to a close.
