Opens BIFF 2015 KoBiz Online Screening on October 12th
The
Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), Korea’s representative film festival, opened its eleven-day events. BIFF features various programs to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. The programs include Asian Cinema 100 which discovers unknown Asian films and directors to shed light on their values and My French Cinema which introduces films recommended from prominent French directors, actors, critics and festival organizers.
There are many great Korean films in each section of the festival this year, too. New Currents which tries to find rookies who will shoulder the future of Asian film industry, selected two local films as last year. Korean Cinema Today – Vision became a gateway to indie filmmakers. Wide Angle carries documentaries with diverse perspectives and short films full of fresh ideas.
Recently, a lot of new Korean films that received love calls internationally have screened at the BIFF. Therefore, KoBiz OS prepared Online Screening having more films than ever on the streaming service through consistent communication with directors and international sales companies.
The Festival Screening: BIFF 2015 will be available at
screening.koreanfilm.or.kr from two days after the closing of the festival, the 12th of October for three months.
