Two-Part Fantasy Epic Assembles Enormous Cast
Lotte Entertainment’s two-part fantasy epic
Along with the Gods brought its simultaneous production to an end after a marathon 10 month filming schedule, which included 175 shooting days, on March 22nd. Despite an earlier commitment to a summer release date, the long production process and intensive post-production demands on the CGI-heavy work have delayed the release of the first installment to December 2017.

Take Off, 2009) assembled a large cast for the webtoon-based project, including

Veteran, 2015) among many others.
Based on a webcomic by
JU Ho-min, the story concerns a character who dies and the angel of death who escorts him to the afterworld. Once there, he goes through seven trials during of 49 days. HA Jung-woo plays the angel of death who becomes involved in human affairs even when he isn’t supposed to, and CHA Tae-hyun features as the recently departed.

Realies Pictures, behind 2012’s period smash hit
Masquerade.
