A member of the girl group Fin.K.L., SUNG Yu-Ri debuted as an actress in the drama <Bad girls> in 2002. She started gaining attention for her performance as the clumsy princess of the Buyeo dynasty in <Love for A Thousand Years> in 2003. Subsequently she was embroiled in a controversy over her acting skills. However, she weathered these issues by acting consistently in the following years, and has since become a mature performer. She was recognized as an actress after showing her acting skills in the drama <Hong Gil Dong>. In 2011, she was widely loved by the public, when she realistically played a stout-hearted home-maid in <The Romance Town>. Her second movie, <A Boy’s Sister>, was released in 2011. She made her TV comeback with the drama <Feast of the Gods> in 2012.
