UHM Tae-woong made his debut with the movie <The Happenings> in 1998. He gained popularity in the dramas <Resurrection> and <Queen Seon Deok>, which earner led him the Top Excellence Award. In February of 2011, he appeared in the KBS2 entertainment program called <Happy Sunday: 1 Nights 2 Days>. UHM began to distinguish himself in a number of thriller roles towards the end of the naughts, such as <Chaw> and <Handphone>, both in 2009. However, he found even greater success as a romantic lead in films such as <Cyrano Agency> (2010) and <Architecture 101> (2012). In late 2013, he headlined <Top Star>, the directorial debut of veteran actor PARK Joong-hoon.
