PARK Hae-joon, born in 1976, graduated from the Korea National University of Arts in dramatics before making his debut in theatre in 2007. He made his first screen appearance with a supporting role in drama film <Helpless> (2011), soon followed by the high school drama <PLUTO> (2012). He gained more recognition by starring in <Hwayi: A Monster Boy> (2013), but it is through his role as a young section chief in the workplace drama series <Misaeng> (2014), a cultural phenomenon in Korea, that most people discovered him. This allowed him to appear more frequently on the silver screen, with notable supporting parts in <THE ACCIDENTAL DETECTIVE> (2015), <UNFORGETTABLE> (2015), <WARRIORS OF THE DAWN> (2017), and <Heart Blackened> (2017), and recently starred in <Believer> (2017), the Korean adaptation of John WOO’s <Drug War> (2013).
