Born in 1986, MIN Jin-woong studied acting at the Korean National University of the Arts before making his debut in the royal court comedy <Fashion King> (2014). In 2015, he found his way into the occult horror film <The Priests> (2015), a surprise success that garnered 5.4 million admissions. He was later cast in LEE Joon-ik’s critically praised drama <DONGJU; The Portrait of A Poet> (2015). MIN made his name starring as the oldest son in the hit family drama <My Father is Strange> (2017), for which he won an Excellence Award at the Korea Drama Awards. The same year, he received a Best New Actor nomination at the Grand Bell Awards for his performance in the courtroom drama film <New Trial> (2016). He then reunited with Director LEE Joon-ik for his follow-up <Anarchist from the colony> (2017). In 2018, it was in yet another Japanese Occupation-set drama film that he could be seen, playing one of the members of a Korean language society in <MAL·MO·E: The Secret Mission> (2018). He is however best known for his supporting role in <Memories of the Alhambra> (2019), one of the most successful series ever in Korean cable television.
